Inspired by the traditional beers of Trappist monks, this robust ale pours a deep chestnut color with aromas of raisins and dates. The malty-forward flavor has hints of toasted brown sugar from its time in bourbon barrels from Finger Lakes Distilling. It makes a great pairing with dark chocolate, game meats and aged cheeses.
