
Hospitality Team Lead
As part of our core team, we are looking for a motivated Hospitality Team Lead to shape our customer experience and grow our Chalice Club membership. The successful individual is personable, highly energetic and creative, with significant knowledge about food and craft beer. Responsibilities and Duties
Hands-on shift management while maintaining a positive, fun work environment. Expected to lead from the Tasting Room and actively engage with customers and team members during operating hours, as well as lead pre and post shift duties.
Recruiting, hiring and onboarding of front of house team members, including maintaining adequate staffing levels, scheduling and job supplies for business demand.
Work collaboratively with the Culinary and Production teams to assure an exceptional guest experience and cohesive operations.
Create and implement new customer care procedures that enhance the guests experience.
Expand our Chalice Club membership and enhance the member experience.
Work collaboratively with the Culinary and ownership teams to analyze sales results and implement revenue enhancements.
Be able to work on your feet for extended periods.
Required Experience
At least 3 years’ experience in a full-service restaurant, hotel, winery or craft beverage tasting room and/or similar experience required
At least 2 years’ experience of serving alcohol in a craft beverage tasting room or similar bar environment, and understanding of protocols and legal requirements to serve alcohol
Must be TIPS certified (or get certification)
Must be willing and able to work a varied schedule including nights, weekends, and some holidays
Experience pairing craft beverages with food, particularly Belgian-focused beer
A positive and collaborative attitude
Ability to communicate clearly with managers, kitchen and tasting room team members, and guests
Ability to bend, stand, and stoop for long periods of time, and working long hours in hot conditions
Must be willing and able to pass background checks
